How do I update my filing status from sing,e to head of household? I qualify I just can't get to that option

Did you enter a qualifying person as a dependent on your tax return? Did you enter your filing status as Single or Married Filing Separately?

Do you proved over one-half the cost to maintain your household?

Yes I did. But I never had the option to enter my filing status it just took the info from last year

On the right panel in TurboTax, under 2024 Taxes, choose My Info, Edit, click until you get to the screen About your household. Make sure you have entered your dependents. Continue on and answer that you paid more than half the cost of to keep up your home, if you did so. This will allow you to file Head of Household.
