Won't let me download documents. I can't even select it. The page auto loads redirect whatever trying to force me to file this year's taxes. Also can I file 2018 taxes?

You can only prepare and file 2018 taxes if you buy , download and install the 2018 desktop software on a full MAC or Windows computer.  2018 would have to be printed and mailed in by you...

..........as for other prior year tax returns you might have prepared Online...the following applies:

1)   IF you used the CD/Desktop software last year, then the only copy is on that computer's hard drive, or in any backups you made.

2)  IF you used the Online software, then you must be logged into the 'Exact-Same" account you used in those prior years.

3)  IF you are logged into the proper Online account, you may need to start thru the initial stages of the 2020 tax return interview, so that you can get the left-side menu selections to show up...once you do that:

For any prior years tax forms......( 2019 is now loaded into the prior years section )

 ....... click on Tax Home

..............Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents 

.....................click on Show. 

.............................Click on the Year and then Click on Download/print return (PDF)
