I worked for 2 different employers in 2018 and as a result over payed social security taxes by around $5900. I also owed $2700 in Federal Taxes. While using TurboTax, I was notified that I was eligible for a refund on my excess Social Security tax payment but it never got subtracted from the amount I owed. The Federal Taxes I owed have now been debited from my bank account but I don't see any sign of the Social Security tax refund. How do I got about getting it?

If you enter your 2 or more forms W-2 in TurboTax, the amount of excess social security tax withheld will be calculated by TurboTax and included as a credit on your tax return (line 72 of Schedule 5 of form 1040). You will not receive a separate refund.

Please check line 72 of your Schedule 5.
