Worked on a paid Internship for the US Holocaust Museum and was given a 1099-MISC - I do not own, nor did I start a business. This is the ONLY income I had in 2016, I was a student the rest of the year. What is the best way to go about reporting t

Since you received a 1099-MISC, you must file a Schedule C to report the income.  You can also take any expenses off against that income that were used to produce it.

If you don't own a business, then you can put your name in and just use your personal information to complete the rest of that section.

You'll want to get that income as low as possible, because in addition to paying federal tax on it, you'll also be assessed a 15.3% self-employment tax on it.
