TurboTax is tax preparation software to assist in completing do-it-yourself tax returns.  It is not a CPA, EA, Tax Attorney or other paid tax professional.  If you are uncomfortable with completing a tax return yourself using the software then you should seek out a tax professional in your area to assist you.

Otherwise, if you choose to use TurboTax to assist you in completing a 2017 tax return you will need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2017 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2017 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

Print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS.  Include with the mailed return any forms W-2 and 1099 which have taxes withheld.  Go to this IRS website for mailing addresses - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment

There are no penalties for filing a tax return after the due date if filing for a tax refund or there are no taxes owed.
