Can a PROFILE prepared tax return for 2022 be rolled forward to prepare a 2023 Turbo Tax return?

A PROFILE file rolled forward into TURBO TAX so that it includes carryforward tax accounts from 2022?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to transfer your Profile information into TurboTax. You can't carry forward information into a different software and therefore not compatible.

I have been a long-time user of Profile for preparing personal tax returns for clients. I have not downsized and will be moving to Turbo Tax for 2024 years and going forward. Will I be able to carryforward 2023 tax returns prepared in Profile to file 2024 returns

No, the year over year summaries are auto generated in TurboTax, so there's no way to enter data into them. You can always recreate the summaries in a program like Excel or Google Sheets.

Actually, I went into the carry forward form, scrolled to the bottom and entered 2023 there. It seems to show the comparative on the detailed summary now.
