Question

I can't find my previously filed tax return for the prior year to roll forward to start the current year return.

When I login and go to "view all tax returns" prior year returns that I would expect to see are not there.

It sounds like you may not be logging in to the same account that you used for filing last year.  To make sure you don't have another account, please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help Article: How can I view all my TurboTax accounts?

Unfortunately when I followed the instructions, I wasn't provided with a list of my accounts.  Rather it took me to a list of questions to start building a new return profile.

Is it possible that my returns are on the US Turbotax site, although I filed Canadian tax returns in prior years?

Was there some issues at Turbotax regarding lost customer returns from prior years?  I thought I read something about that online.

    Please advise.  Thanks.

@davejailal1 RachelW33 gave the link to the US FAQ. Here is the correct link for Canada: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/help-article/login-password/recover-intuit-account-sign/L6TnnBrRd_CA_en_CA?uid=m7nwm3ic

Also please note that only TurboTax Online returns are securely stored on our servers. If you used TurboTax Desktop your returns would have only been stored on your own computer.

Canadian returns are NEVER moved to or stored on TurboTax Online US accounts.
