I got separated in 2024, trying to fill in and it is asking for my ex partners line 23400 and 23600, how supposed to know these for 2024 when we are trying to file now?

You can enter an estimate for their income to continue with your return, and then go back and enter the real number before you file.

no you cant, I have tried 100 different numbers and it wont let me move ahead. it keeps telling me theres an error that needs correcting before i proceed.

I have the exact same question! I am trying to do my taxes right now, and my husband and I separated in August 2024 and they are asking for this information from the 2024 tax return that I cannot answer because we have not filed our 2024 tax returns, obviously. How the heck do we do this? Makes absolutely no sense!
