If my invoices have included discounts, are they all applicable to tax returns?

I have been working on almost 10 film projects, and people cannot afford my high rate; that's why I put discounts into my invoices in addition to my initial rates. Are these taxes refundable?

    If you are using Turbotax Online, it will ask you if you had any discounts. Enter the amount and it will be subtracted from your income.
