Investment income reported on your 2022 return. I lost money so do I put in the negative amount?

A friend told me to delete all tha T5008s fro the stock markt and use the .CSV files from TD. I did that and it all worked out. I had it reviewed by the Turbotax lady and submitted so all is good.
