Question

My CRA account got locked. When I contacted CRA agent, they mentioned they cannot help because there is an issue with software that you used for netfile. Can you help?

They mentioned with the information they got from my T4 like, SIN, address, DOB, etc they cannot unlock my account. They also said maybe there is an issue with the address that turbotax used to submit the files to CRA

    Are you talking about your CRA MyAccount or that your NETFILE account has been locked out after 5 tries?

    CRA My account. 

    I had access to it at first, but it was limited, and asked to submit my passport or some other ID card, together with a selfie to get a full access. Once I did that it got locked....

    The issue is not the about the browser or devise, it is really frozen!

    Anyways, will I still receive my refund check ? Or should I say goodbye to my money 🙂

    CRA MyAccount is a service provided by the CRA. TurboTax has no control over this service, so we can't unlock your account.

     

    If you don't have direct deposit set up with the CRA, you will receive your tax refund as a cheque in the mail.
