My T4A has an amount in box 21 but I can't find box 21. do I ignore that amount ?

Please make sure you are on the right page. If you are entering CPP or disability benefits, you need to enter it on the T4A(P) page.

How to Enter T4A(P) Slips in TurboTax:

In online editions of TurboTax

1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find (magnifying glass) *.

2. In the Find window, type in “T4A(P)” and select “T4A(P) Canada Pension Plan Benefits”. Click the “Go” button.

3. Select Enter new T4A(P).

In CD/download editions of TurboTax

1. On the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find (magnifying glass) *.

In the Find window, type in “T4A(P)” and select “T4A(P) Canada Pension Plan Benefits”. Click the “Go” button.

3. On the Entering your federal T-slips step, check T4A(P) and select Continue.

* If you don’t see the Find button, you may not have completed the Setting Up/Introduction section of your return. Continue through the Setting Up section until the Find button appears.
