I am used to CD version don't like online version would lie to undo and cancel my account

Unfortunately you cannot delete or close your TurboTax account. However you can delete all returns from the account.

When you login to your account, click on the trash can icon next to a return to delete it.

If you only have one return, it won’t show the trash can. Click “Start a new return” to create a blank return. Now you should be able to delete your return, leaving only the empty return in the account.

@holdenjutta If you just want to delete the return you are currently working on, and you have other returns in your account, select “View All Tax Returns” from under “My Returns” and delete the unwanted return by clicking the small trash can :wastebasket: next to it (or “Delete” under the return name). If there is no trash can next to the return that you want to delete, then open another return. Now when you go back to “My Returns,” you should be able to delete the unwanted return.

yes I am not familiar with the online version where one needs to photo all documents and submit that to the tax return helper .... therefor I want to cancel my request and ask for a refund ... thank you ..... R. S. (name edited for security on public forum)

Please cancel my account with turbo tax. I had already begun filling in the form for my 2024 tax year but have found the form very confusing. Please clear the form and cancel my submission to revenue canada.

Can you please clarify what you are asking? If you are using TurboTax Desktop forms mode and it is confusing you, you can click on EasySteps to help you better. We cannot cancel anything that you have sent to the CRA. If you haven't filed your return, then nothing that you completed has gone to Revenue Canada.
