TurboTax says my spouse needs to upgrade to Premier to file. I don't need it. How do I use Deluxe for me? It's not giving me a choice.

Do I have to pay for the higher priced Premier too if we file together? Even though my return doesn't need it and Deluxe would work.

If you are preparing your returns together, you will both be using the same version of TurboTax and will both be charged the same price. If you want to use a different version of TurboTax than your spouse, you will need to prepare your returns separately.
