Question

Why I am being asked to pay $42 if I want submit my return with my spouse? I have purchased the online deluxe edition for returns.

It clearly says the online deluxe version is for 8 returns. If I count jointly with my spouse it should count two and should be free. why its asking me to pay $42?

    Did you activate your software by going to turbotax.ca/activate? With TurboTax Online, you pay based on what is on the return. If you start a Deluxe return, but enter something that’s not available in Deluxe, then you’ll be upgraded. If you have activated a Deluxe 8 Return code, then you will only have to pay the difference between Deluxe and whatever your return needs.
