We closed on our house in December 2020 and did not make a house payment until 2021. How do I enter in my closing costs. I do not have form 1098. I do have all my closing papers.

Look at your HUD statement. Any property taxes or mortgage interest you paid would be an itemized deduction. Other costs are not deductible. Most of your deductions will be for your 2021 return.
