Mortgage Interest deduction

Hi,

Looking at my 2018 taxes I filed, I noticed that I entered $10,000+ in mortgage interest, but when my taxes were filed Turbo Tax only gave me credit for $4400? Why is that? Thanks!

OMG, thank you!!!!! I went back in an realized that that I put my mortgage interest in and then mixed it with my HELOC info. You helped me tremendously. I must have looked at that 20 times and never realized it. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
