Veteran; Short-Sale; New Purchase

I am a military veteran with a short sale of MY last property (2012). My wife and I live mortgage free in HER house due to coming into some money a few years back. Our family has grown from 3-5 and now need to upgrade. What are my options, if any for a good loan. We would sell where live currently.

    suggest checking with a mortgage broker in your community and discuss..... that short sale was 7 years ago and may not be an issue anymore.
