I have a form 8949 without a form 1099-b.  How do I enter this information

    What type of sale did you have? Did you receive form 1099-S Proceeds from Real Estate Transactions? 

    When you enter investment sales, TurboTax will automatically fill out Form 8949 and transfer the info to Schedule D. You don't need to fill out the 8949 yourself.
