Can I claim taxes due to the IRS for 2021 as foreign tax paid on employment income for 2021?

I owe tax on employment income to the IRS for 2021, in addition to tax already withheld. Can I claim the tax I owe to the IRS as Foreign tax paid on employment income for my 2021 Canadian Tax Return?

    Yes. When you fill out the Foreign Slip, there is a space to include any taxes that you paid on the income you are reporting.
