Can I use cash account stock issues that have gone to zero as capital losses against 2022 capital gains?

I have two issues that I bot years ago and they are showing negative values of $5,135.50 and -$1,824.83, respectively.

    You might be able to, if the stocks are no longer tradable. It would be a good idea to contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and check with them. If you are in Canada or the United States, you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281.
