Claiming rent from 2019 on 2022 taxes

    You can't claim your 2019 rent on your 2022 taxes. You would need to add them to your 2019 return. You can use ReFile in TurboTax (if you used TurboTax CD/Download) or you can use the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)’s My Account service to make the changes. But you may want to wait until you have gotten your Notice of Assessment, as the CRA may correct the error themselves.
