How can I report foreign property capital gains

    If you owned or held foreign property during the year with a total cost of over $100,000 CAD, you need to complete Form T1135. 

     

    If you paid taxes you can claim the foreign tax credit. Once in your return- go to the top right and click on the "FIND" button and type in foreign tax credit and go- Here is where you will enter your amounts.
