Question

How do I apply a 2022 capital loss to prior year (2019, 2020, 2021) capital gains?

I had capital gains in each of the preceding years but I haven't been able to find how to apply my current year capital loss to those gains

    To carry-back your gains to prior years, please follow the steps below.

    1. Inside your return use the Find icon (magnifying glass) at the top right corner
    2. Enter losses, choose it then click GO
    3. See Image #1 tick last option then click Continue.
    4. See Image #2 and enter your amounts to 2019 first and so on.
    5. Click Continue to save your entries
