    Scenario One: -
If you are an employee, and your company requires you to work from home or some other place for which you need to make expenses, you can claim those expenses under employment expenses, and to claim these expenses you must have a T2200 form from your employer.
If you are talking about the change of workspace for this kind of situation as mentioned above, then you can claim any additional expenses that you made to establish a new workspace under employment expenses.
Below are the steps to enter this kind of employment expense: -
    • First of all, click on the "Find" (Magnifying glass) option on the screen of your tax file.
    • Type "Employment Expense", and click on "GO"
    • Select "YES" on this page, and on the next page select "T2200 - Declaration of Conditions of Employment", and again click on the continue.
    • The page named "Employment Expense Profile" will appear and here you need to declare all the expenses.
    • Eventually, Click "Continue" to save all information entered.

    Scenario  2: -
If you are talking about the change of workplace where you used to work as an employee, you just need to enter the new T4 slip which you might have received at the year-end.
To enter T4A follow the steps given below: -
    • Click on the "Find" (Magnifying Glass) option in your tax file.
    • Type "T4" and click on "GO"
    • Here you need to enter your all income-related information
    • Click on the "Done with T4A slips" at the end to save the details entered.
