How to report sales of rental property by Turbotax premier 2021. I can not find where to put address of the property and details.

To enter the sale of your rental property, follow these steps:

1. In the upper right-hand corner, click the magnifying glass, then type capital into the search field.

2. It will take you to your capital gains profile for 2021 on the following page, where you will select everything that applies to you.

3. You will select Sold stocks, bonds, real estate, other capital property, or sold qualifying small business corporation shares and/or qualified farm property and you have a capital gain or loss to report since you sold your property.

4. After that, click Continue and then Enter new disposition.

5. It will take you to the capital gains page, where you will fill in the details regarding your rental property.
