Question

1099-div Turbo Tax is asking for a payer federal ID number which is all zeros. Turbo Tax is not accepting this. What do I need to do to do?

Lat year I was told to leave this blank which I did & it was accepted. This year Turbo Tax Will not allow me to move forward with all blanks, zeros or 9s. Any Ideas?

    Delete the forms and start again entering ONLY the bank or brokerage name and the dividend amounts.
