1099B not showing any Federal Taxes Withheld

My 1099B is not showing any federal Taxes being withheld for a transaction in June 2022 and the transaction itself shows nothng being withheld.   However, I would have thought that my W9 and the Withhold To Cover (WTC) transactions when these share vested would be used to cover the taxes for withholding at the time of sale in June of 2022 for these particular shares.  Please clarify. Thoughts?

A W9 is only a request for a taxpayer identification number and would not affect any withholdings.

I don't know what kind of stocks you were selling, but WTC is generally used for Restricted Stock Units and is something you would need to talk to your brokerage about.

Having withholding from your investments is something handled directly with your broker.
