Whenever you are dealing with third party uploads into TT, software integration gets messy.

Additionally, many investment type firms receive extensions to have final information available; one of mine in particular will not be available until early March.

My recommendation would be to call Acorn to inquire about uploads into tax return preparation software to get their input.  Sometimes they have insight into what may be causing the issue.

It finally worked later in day. I guess I was a little early. Acorns customer support was useless. They had no answers.

I am having the same issue with importing 1099. I have attempted the entering of the account number and document ID, which is directly from the physical form.  An error msg keeps appearing in TurboTax (desktop version). Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to get it to finally upload on 2/17 after several attempts so it does work. Calling Acorns support was useless. All I can say is to keep trying and make sure you are entering Account # and Document ID exactly as it is on the 1099.

Yes - TurboTax instruction for Document ID entry says it is not case sensitive, but it is. Thanks.

Contrary to what TurboTax has as directions the entry of the Document ID IS case specific - enter letters in capital form.
