Question

Am I double taxed on RSU distributions? ?

I got quite a few RSU's granted this year, but as expected 30% of stocks were withheld to cover taxes and the rest of the stocks were added to my brokerage account. I see my W2 Box 1 included the RSU grant as total wages, also in BOX 14, the RSU amount which was deposited into brokerage account. The question is that how do I enter this information in my tax return? My concern is that I may be double taxed if I don't fill out a form that 30% of stocks were already withheld for tax purposes. Thanks

The amount that was withheld for the taxes on your vested RSU's is normally included in the Box 2 amount on your W-2.  So you've already been credited for those taxes.  All you have to do is enter your W-2 as is.
