On the Carryovers to 2024 Smart Worksheet here is what is on the screen:

 G. Schedule E suspended Loss -32049

Disallowed Passive Losses:

   Before 2018    25,505

    2020 J Operating Loss  -3055

     2022 S Operating Loss -22450

2023 S Operating Loss - 32049              <-       this is the entry that Turbotax is complaining about - what do I put instead?

This experience has been reported and is under investigation. You may sign up for updates here: Why is the capital loss carryover screen showing incorrect calculations? Even if this doesn't seem to apply to your situation, the form & calculations will be updated in TurboTax when the investigation is complete.

Its more than a month later now.. Is there a solution? Even entering lower values does not make this error go away. The website does not let me file my taxes because it says there are problems that need to be fixed first. This is the only problem and am upset this is not resolved. In past years this calculation was automatic and did  not cause issues. Furthermore manually editing Schedules with the Turbotax website is basically impossible, as one can only enter data in the Turbotax webiste field, not in the Schedule directly.. So how do I circumvent this issue? Also, I am afraid this error will forever haunt me in future tax returns if this error is not corrected for my 2024 return. I have tried entering the lower value   (last years value, and thereby completely foregoing my current years losses), but this does not resolve the problem and the same error persists..

THIS IS A SERIOUS FAULT!!!  I HAVE ALREADY PAID AND AM NOW STUCK IN A TAX RETURN I CANNOT FILE!!
