Under Income and Expenses it shows 0.00 for 2024 where there previous year (2023) there was over 4000 in carry over.

It depends. Be sure you have entered your capital loss carryover from your 2023 return to your 2024 return.  It's one of those items that must be confirmed each year if you still have a carryover. Follow the steps here.

If you have any capital gains, this loss will be used first against any gains, then if there is any excess, it will be carried to 2025. TurboTax may not know if you amended your return which is just one reason you need to confirm and review each year.

Review your tax return following the steps below when you are ready.

    1. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
    2. Select Tax Tools
    3. On the drop-down select Tools
    4. On the pop-up menu titled “Tools Center”, select View Tax Summary
    5. On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040

For TurboTax Desktop, change to 'Forms' and review the forms
