Best way to depreciate a major renovation to a vacation rental property

Hello,

We made major renovations to a vacation rental property in 2024.    Basically a redo as we replaced doors and windows, flooring, electrical, added solar, heat pump HVAC and hot water, new kitchen and baths.  Can this be depreciated as one big expense, or does each expense have to be added as a separate line item.

Thank you.

If possible, it would be good to break out the pieces that may be replaced down the road (HVAC, water heater) and depreciate them as separate items, but still as components of the property.

Then take the rest as one renovation project and depreciate it as an asset to cover the remaining cost.
