I'm trying to enter my Social Security income but I keep getting a blank screen.  I even uninstalled  & reinstalled the program but it's still coming up blank.  I've tried everything I can think of but I'm stuck.  I have to enter that income. Any suggestions, please???

Are you using online software or desktop?  Windows or Mac?

I'm using the CD version on my Windows 8 laptop.  The Social Security entry page isn't the only page coming up blank. It happened with several others, always the same pages every time.  BUT, I got around it by going to the Forms version & entering the amounts there.  And they did transfer to the navigation page (where it shows your entries side by side-by-side with the previous year's entries).  Too many glitches, makes the whole process more of a pain than it should be.

Are you sure you have Windows 8?  You can't install Turbo Tax on Windows 8.  You couldn't even install 2021 on Windows 8 either (you needed 8.1).    I had to get a new laptop.  You must have upgraded your computer system.

You might be trying to enter it in the wrong place.

In TurboTax (TT), enter social security income at:
    - Federal Taxes tab (Personal in  Home & Business)

     - Wages & Income

    Scroll down to:

    -Retirement Plans & Social Security

          -Social Security (SSA-1099…..

No, I was trying to enter it in the right place. The right place just wasn't there.  This was not the only page that came up blank. It happened with several other pages.  I got around it by switching to the Forms view & entering the amounts there.  But thanks for responding.
