Box 2A 1099div
The detail of my box 2a of 1099div shows its long term. When I enter the information on Turbo Tax easy step, it taxes it as ordinary income.
Can I change it to long term and if so how?
The amount in box 2a will be treated appropriately as long term capital gain by the program. Look at your capital gain worksheet.
