Calculation for Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, and Other is incorrect

I checked my number so many times.  I am confident that there is something wrong with the premier desktop version calculating stocks, mutual funds, bonds, and others under investment income.  I know I can re-enter everything manually to see if the numbers correct themselves.  I will try that.  However, for software that often advertises to ensure customers will get the maximum amount of refund they deserve.  It shouldn't have errors like this.

jimbotronn,

As no one in this volunteer forum can see your tax return, a very good thing,  could you please provide more specifics of what you are encountering and why you believe TurboTax is doing investment income wrong?  It does presume that information is fully and correctly entered before it can compute the correct tax impact.

For example, are you working on sales of such investments, i.e. entering 1099-B tax forms?  Dividends on form 1099-DIV?  Did you import the data from a financial institution and, if so, which one, and did you perhaps import the information more than once, accidentally duplicating items?

I imported part of the data from Fidelity.  There are four entries for my RSU stock.  first line the gain/(loss) shows -122.88.  Matching the number shown in the calculation.  the third and fourth lines did the same thing.  Some how when I click on "edit" for the second entry, went through the exact process as the other three line return gain/(loss) value os 7.15, which is correct.  However, when I return to the screen where I can see all four entires, the second line item keep showing 323.10 gain.  It is not showing the matching number like the other three lines does.  Everything is exactly the same.  I don't understand why it thinks I gain 323.10

jimbotronn,

Ah, RSU's!  Take a look at

and see if something there rings a bell.  If that doesn't help, I will happily try to reproduce your situation if you can give me the relevant data for the four RSU sales.
