Can I be claimed dependent if I lived with my family for 7 months, but paid rent?

I lived with my parents to take a break from school, so I wasn't a full time student during 2022. I paid $200 a month for rent and paid for my own food and other bills. They want to claim me as a dependent, but I don't feel like that is right.

If you are aged over18 and earn more than $4,400 in 2022, then your parents cannot claim you as their dependent. If you made less than $4,400 and they provide more than half of your support then they can claim you.

If you're under 19 and did not provide more than half of your own support then your parents can claim as a dependent.
