Question

Can I manually enter a Schedule E? I co-own a rental property, the other owner's accountant already did the Schedule E for us.

I tried going through the rentals and royalties section, but the numbers don't match.  I just want to enter the Schedule E as the accountant had prepared.

No, not in the online versions of TurboTax (TT).  You can in the desktop versions, but it voids the warranty and may prevent you from e-filing. 

 

To switch from on-line to desktop:
Even before you pay for the online version you can switch to the desktop version and you won't have to re-enter your information. To continue in the desktop version see this
