capital gains on line 7 vs interest on line 2b

it appears turbo tax 2022 is adding/replicating the interest and my state refund to line 7. hence the interest is being double counted.

When you enter the interest into the form on TurboTax you have to be very careful to enter the amounts exactly as they appear on your 1099-INT. It's also a good idea to not assume that anything that has been imported into the return has been entered correctly until you have double checked it. So it is possible that the interest reported on your form has been entered as capital gains in the wrong section, or reported on the section for dividends. Please go back and carefully check the inputs for these numbers and make sure they have been put in the proper sections.
