I have two investments with losses 1099-B. One loss is -6942.90. Other is -165.36 loss. The system shows capital losses for 2024 is 3000.00. Cary forward to 2025 is 3856.00.
According to my calculation, total is 7108.26 and if 3000 is applied, the remainder carry forward should be 4108.26.
Is my math wrong or is the system not working right?
