Turbotax lists the qualifications for claiming the Colorado Capital Gain Subtraction for farmland. It states that real property can be located within or outside of Colorado. The Colorado Capital Gain Subtraction information from the Department of Revenue states that the property must be in Colorado. Is Turbotax correct...may I claim the deduction for farmland outside of Colorado that I sold in 2024? Thanks!!!

No, you cannot claim the deduction for agricultural land located outside of Colorado.  If you select that option the next screen says:

You should not enter the information in the following screen.
