Complelte lack of tchnoical support

Had some time this weekend to finish my return  but find it hard to get anything done... and the problem is clear : NO TECH. SUPPORT WORTHWHILE

 

I accepted an incorrect self employment figure because I ended up spending an hour with a technical person that didn't even know more than i did.

 

 THEN GOT INTO "SMART CHECKS" AND FOUND A , I FOUND OUT,  COMMON PROBLEM ON MORGAN STANLEY TRANSFER CONCERNING THE "N" CODE ADJUSTMENT.. ... AND I KNOW ITS COMMON BECAUSE I GOOGLED THE TERM AND GOT A TURBOTAX SITE SHOWING LOTS OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING FOR THE SAME ISSUE FOR OVER A MONTH NOW !!!

 

FIRST TECH SUPPORT PERSON HUNG UP WHEN I TOLD HER I NEEDED TO GET A SOLUTION... OUT RIGHT STATING SHE COULDN'T GIVE ME ONE..

 

SECOND HUNG UP TELLING ME SHE COULD NOT USE THE SHARE SCREEN NUMBER I HAD BECAUSE HER SCREEN SHOWED ME NOT CONNECTED..!!!  

 

NUTS!

 

LETS HOPE SOMETHING GETS SAROUMND TO FIXING  AT LEAST THE "N" PROBLEM... OTHERWISE,  I HAVE WASTED SEVERAL DAYS HERE .   

 

Now I find I

The issue with 1099-B's incorrectly importing with adjustment code N has now been resolved.  Please delete your imported 1099-B, update your TT Desktop software, and then re-import.

My hope is that my nigthmare is over... I will take more time today try to folow your instructions,. Howver, unclear what you mean by Update TT.

If you're using TurboTax Desktop, at the top ONLINE link, choose 'Check for Updates'.
