I use my living room to prepare my dance classes rehearsal & teach the part of the living room i use has mirrors and is separated from with a roomdevider can I deduct part of my rent and how much compare to the full rent? the apartment is 2br with a double size kitchen living room

As a self employed individual, if you use your workspace regularly and exclusively for business, you may be able to deduct home office expense.

You would divide the square footage of the area you use regularly and exclusively for business by the total square footage of the apartment and deduct that fraction accordingly.
