depreciation info missing

I see posts from prior years about rental depreciation info missing. It happened to me this year. Line 18 on Schedule E did not fill out. I have never had problems with this in prior years. It was all smooth until now.

Any ideas? I installed a CD Premier.

    Hi again!

There is no update. You are saying this is not the issue. What would be the issue if not the update?

There could have been a glitch in the transfer process.

You might try updating your software and then transferring your 2021 return again.

I have noticed that has worked for some users.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Does that mean I will have to reenter everything again or just close, save and open again hoping there is an update?

Check to see if there is an update available first. If there is none (your version of the software is the latest), then there is no need to do another transfer as the update is not the issue.

If there is an update for your software, which will be installed, and you transfer your 2021 return again, you will have to re-enter any data that you entered after the earlier transfer.
