Question

Did I get emergency rental assistance excluded from taxable income on my federal return? I don't understand if this applies to me. I got 3 mths rent paid.

I got 3 months paid from an emergency rental assistance covid-19 relief program. It was paid straight to my landlord.

Per IRS, Emergency Rental Assistance payments made to eligible households are not considered income to members of the household.
