Do I have to put that i'm legally blind every year when I do my taxes?

Yes, that has to be indicated for every tax year's tax return.

Thanks for your response.  However, I do not see on the form where to put my Blindness status.  Can you help me with that?

In the My Info section of the TurboTax online edition, when entering your personal information there is a screen which asks I was considered legally blind as of December 31, 2023 where you answer Yes or No.

 

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen and edit your personal information.
