how do i report cost basis for an undetermined term proceeds from a form 8949?

In TurboTax Online, select Edit/Add to the right of Investments and Savings at the screen Your income and expenses.

 

At the screen Let's finish pulling in your investment income, click on the down arrow to the right of the investment to edit.

 

 

Click the Edit button to access the cost basis for the investment.

 

Click on the pencil to the right to edit the transaction. 

 

 

Scroll down to Box 1e Cost or other basis.  You may also need to select The cost basis is incorrect or missing on my 1099-B.
