Question

Do I really have to list 46 "sells" on my 1099-B? (It's a small stock portfolio that I have not touched all year.) Should I give up and hire an accountant?

You can enter your sales by sales section totals (summarized) instead of entering them one by one.   TurboTax will ask how many transactions are listed and recommend summary entry if you have a lot of transactions.   See this TurboTax FAQ
