Do I still get a stimulus check if my parent claimed me but I dont live with them and I pay my own rent?

If you do not qualify as a dependent when you file your 2020 tax return next year, then you'll get it next year when you file your 2020 tax return.

Understand that the key word here is "QUALIFY". If you qualify as a dependent on your parent's 2020 tax return then it *does* *not* *matter* if they actually claim you or not. You will *NOT* get the stimulus payment.
