When I left a company in 2015 I sold all of my stock and recieved  payment.  In 2016 the company re-evaluated 5 years of stock value.  The value of my stock, which I had been paid for, increased roughly $800.  I received a check for this amount, but no IRS Form.  What does this stock payment correction count as?

At this point about the only logical thing to do is to report a "sale" of the stock using the "Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other" interview.  Tell TurboTax that you sold "stock" and simply enter the $800 as proceeds with $0 basis.
